SPECIAL NEEDS LETTER FROM THE
MISSIONARY & SUPPORTING LETTER BY PASTOR DAVID
July 16, 2010
Dear Friends,
At the
request of those who advise us, we write this letter to
inform you of a financial need.
It has not been our custom to do so in the past, but we have
been asked to specifically share this with those that
regularly pray for and support us.
Ten
years ago God graciously supplied a used Jeep for our
family. It has been a great blessing to our family, and has
been used almost daily in the ministry in a myriad of ways.
However, our family has outgrown the Jeep, and we have been
stopped by the police on more than one occasion for
illegally transporting kids behind the back seat. The Jeep
is also beginning to fail, as it is 21 years old.
We have
a great need for a new vehicle.
In our search, we have found that, unless one is purchasing
a used vehicle from some well-known source, that option is
quite risky. The cost of used vehicles in good condition,
with all the ¨little¨ repairs and necessary costs, comes so
near the price for a new vehicle that we believe the best
option is a new vehicle.
The
Hyundai H-1 appears to be the vehicle most suited for
our needs that is readily available in this country. The
price that we have been quoted is between $27,000 and
$29,000. We have $17,500 in a combination of
savings and special gifts already given for this purpose.
Our
chief concern in this matter is obtaining the vehicle that
would be God´s perfect will for our family, using His money
wisely.
Please pray with us to this end, as well as for provision
for the remaining funds necessary for the purchase of the
van.
We thank
each of you for your faithful prayers and support of our
family.
In His
service,
Joel, Dana, Caleb, Benjamin, Aarón
and Isaac Gamonal

Dear
Brethren:
I am
writing on behalf of the Joel Gamonal Family our
missionaries serving in Manchay, Peru. I have had the
privilege to visit the work and minister God’s Word in their
church. They are some of the most dedicated missionaries I
have ever known. Joel and Dana literally pour their lives
into the work of the ministry and know how to live
sacrificially. As God’s servants they are worthy of our
prayer and financial support.
As their
pastor I am encouraging them to believe God to supply their
need of a new vehicle without going into debt. With the help
of God’s people to date they have been able to save
approximately $17,500 toward the $29,000 they need. That
means we need to help them raise an additional $12,000. I am
confident that regardless of the recession we are
experiencing God can and will meet this need. I am finding
that true saints of God are looking for and willing to
wisely invest in God’s work where there is a legitimate
need. If God were to impress one to give the $12,000 it
would be a blessing, however love gifts of any size are
truly appreciated. We all know that God often uses the
“Widow’s Mite” to accomplish His purposes. You may send your
“ear marked” love gifts to:

Thank you
for caring and giving that we might continue to see the
advancement of God’s Kingdom in Manchay, Peru.
Kindest
regards in Him,
